What's Your Biggest Fear ???
What's Your Biggest Fear ???
I've been in Network Marketing for a little while now and I've heard this question many times. Many people have never thought about this simple but important question. Some of the answers I've heard are: When I sit down and really think about this, I desperately need my freedom to spend time with my Grandchildren. The Fear is so strong it became my "Why" MY "Why"
My "Why" is the underlying Force that keeps me on my Pace, keeps me focus on my Objectives, keeps me Motivated to do what needs to be done no matter what. What I'm trying to relay to you is: The Journey to Freedom will come down to your Biggest Fear of not reaching or Doing what's so Important to you no matter how much time you have left in the day, not eating dinner some time, not making time to see your Favorite TV show. When your "Why" becomes so strong that nothing means as much to you but accomplishing your Goal to obtain that which means so much to you. Yours may be your Children, Money, Time Freedom, Vacationing, Family, New Ventures or the like... Your Job is to sit down and Think about your Fear and the Loss of not accomplishing that.. Then and only then you have arrived at your "Why." Until that time, you are going through the motion, because you feel you have time to accomplish these goals. Then one day you wake up, look back at all the opportunities that came your way and realize, I have been wasting my most precious resource, my Time... We must get hold of this Time Factor and use it to our advantage. I hope you take a little of that precious resource today, right now, and think about what you must have, on what you must do, on what you must accomplish today so that Tomorrow will be what you always wanted to do. I write this with LOVE and HOPE you FEEL me... Last edited by Wallstreet : February 24th, 2006 at 11:57. |

I feel you Perk. For me my greatest fear, is not being able to see my children grow up and maybe see my grandchildren. I also fear failure, so I tend to give up easily, and make excuses for why I didn't accomplish what I set out to do. I know I'm a task oriented person, and I have to have things written down, so I see what I need to do and see some sense of accomplishment. I haven't been doing that, keeping myself accountable.
My fear is getting stronger, my boys are growing up right in front of my eyes, and I don't want to miss out on that. I will start today and write out a to do list so I can keep myself motivated and focused on doing what I know I can do, and what needs to be done. Thank you Perk. What's my Biggest Fear?
Many years ago in my in my late teen's/early 20's, I always thought Time took forever to mature in years. I could not picture myself living in the Millienium years. Thinking Year "2000's" were Space Aged Times
! Back then, I was into a Hip-Hop, House Music culture, frame of mind. "In other words", I thought Time would wait on me until I was ready to mature! As I could see, it was not so. Not believing before my eyes, my first love child is already 19 and in college! My Dear Father in his Seventies and his Time is very precious. Wow, I am starting to realize that the older I get the shorter the Time clock seems. Looking back and trying to figure out, where did all those years go, and where am I today?! I certainly do not want to repeat years of timeless efforts. So, as you can see, my biggest challenge is TIME and making sure I take full advantage of the present moment, because tomorrow is not promise, Yesterday is a memory and NOW this present time, is very valuable. W B Memebrs;
I was always told by my grandmother; "there's nothing to fear but fear itself." Athough I didn't understand then, I always accepted her words as truth. It was later in my life when I actually understood her words of wisdom, and knew for sure they were true. Fear is real, but it usually is accompanied with some kind of negative experience, story, or action. If you can understand the experience, story, or action, prehaps you'll realized there's nothing to be afraid of. When you're face with fear, ask yourself, how dose the fear relate to me? What am I really afraid of? We usually fear the unknown, but what's so scary about the unknown? In life the thing we fear the most is almost inevitable to happen. Fear is mental and in some cases it's a good thing, but we must never let it stagnate our growth. On the other side of fear is opportunity, and I've never seen anyone succeed without subjecting themselve to failure. Last edited by gfavors : March 14th, 2006 at 14:55. |
